Important Meeting in Istanbul: UEB Delegation from Manisa Meets with President Mehmet Özdil

Mehmet Özdil, Founding President of the International Union of Small Business Owners (UEB), hosted Levent Pirinçciler—who was recently appointed as the head of the Manisa branch and also serves as the president of the Manisa Chamber of Commerce—and his delegation in Istanbul. During the meeting, which focused on sectoral developments and support mechanisms for small business owners, steps toward institutional cooperation between Manisa and Istanbul were planned.

General President Mehmet Özdil, who places great importance on organizational efforts in the Aegean region, hosted the leading figures of the Manisa tradespeople’s organization in Istanbul to share the roadmap for the coming period. The meeting featured productive consultations on empowering local producers and integrating UEB’s projects into the field.

Metal Industry Sector and Incentive Packages Discussed

The delegation, which convened with a broad agenda, focused particularly on strategic topics aimed at supporting the development of industrial tradespeople. The following critical assessments stood out during the meeting:

  • Development of the Metal Industry Sector: Increasing the production capacity of artisans and craftsmen in the sector and providing them with access to modern infrastructure.

  • Incentives and Grant Support: The most efficient use of national and international funds and government incentives to enable artisans to access financing more easily.

  • Joint Work Programs: Coordination of projects to be carried out jointly by the Manisa and Istanbul branches under the UEB umbrella.

Mehmet Özdil: “I Wish You Success in Your Role as President of the Manisa Branch”

Following the visit, Mehmet Özdil, Founding General President of UEB and President of the Ümraniye Chamber of Tradespeople and Artisans, emphasized the importance of internal consultations within the organization and made the following remarks:

“We were greatly pleased to host Mr. Levent Pirinçciler—who has been appointed as the President of the Manisa Branch of the International Tradesmen’s Union (UEB) and who has also successfully served as the President of the Chamber in Manisa—and his valued team here in Istanbul.

During this productive meeting, we comprehensively discussed the development of our metal industry sector, the expectations of our artisans, incentive and grant support programs, and the joint initiatives we will implement under the UEB umbrella. I would like to thank our President and his team for their kind visit and wish them outstanding success in their role as President of the UEB Manisa Branch.”
