Visit by İlhan Ocaklı, Advisor to the Ministry of the Interior, to the UEB Headquarters

Mr. İlhan Ocaklı, Advisor to the Ministry of the Interior and Director of Civil Society Relations for Istanbul Province, along with his delegation, visited the headquarters of the International Union of Tradespeople (UEB). During the meeting, the UEB’s national and international activities, the development of civil society, and opportunities for collaboration were discussed.

We hosted Mr. İlhan Ocaklı, Advisor to the Ministry of the Interior and Director of Civil Society Relations for Istanbul Province, along with his distinguished delegation, at the International Tradesmen’s Union (UEB) Headquarters and at our Ümraniye Chamber of Tradesmen and Artisans.

During the visit, hosted by UEB President Mr. Mehmet Özdil, discussions focused on the importance of civil society organizations in our country’s social and economic development, the role of tradespeople and artisans’ organizations in social life, and the development of inter-institutional cooperation.

Information was also provided regarding the International Artisans’ Union’s organizational activities across Turkey, its country and regional representations abroad, and its efforts to help artisans and businesspeople achieve a stronger position in international trade.

The meeting, which addressed potential joint projects and areas of collaboration between public institutions and civil society organizations, took place in an atmosphere of mutual exchange of ideas and cordial conversation.

To commemorate the visit, our UEB President, Mr. Mehmet Özdil, presented Mr. İlhan Ocaklı with a specially designed gift symbolizing Turkish history, culture, and civilization.
