Mehmet Özdil

Founding President of UEB

Mehmet Özdil was born in 1968 in the Şile district of Istanbul. He is the father of two children.

He began his career as a tradesman in 1986 and founded ÖZDİL MODERN YAPILAR ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING IND. AND TRADE LTD. in 2006.

Mehmet Özdil, who most recently served as the Beko franchisee in Ümraniye, was elected president of the Ümraniye Chamber of Tradespeople and Artisans in 2014 and quickly drew attention by successfully defending the rights of tradespeople and artisans.

He was subsequently elected to the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Artisans, and he continues to serve actively in both roles.

He is the Founding President of the International Craftsmen’s Union, which was authorized on May 23, 2025, pursuant to Article 1 of Law No. 3335 on the Establishment of Organizations of an International Nature, signed by Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

At the same time, it continues to operate in the construction sector and contributes to the development of the regional economy.

Recognized for his leadership qualities and innovative vision, Mehmet Özdil has been involved in projects that add value to both the community and the industry in the fields of interior design, renovation and decoration, construction projects, and public spaces.
